BEHIND THE LENS

I'm not a world traveler, I don't interview celebrities or win gold medals at the Olympics.

​

What I do have is a Diploma of Photography from a prestigious educational institution, years of experience, a passion for looking through the lens

 

I also have an overwhelming belief that everyone deserves a great photo and compulsion to give you the best experience I can.

Some of the services I provide are fine art hi-fashion portraits, warm family portraits, beautiful product photography or flying a drone for some Aerial photography, 

 

Every client gets my full attention to make their vision come true because your vision is my passion.

My journey to the lens is not one I wish on anyone, it started for me when my son Connar was diagnosed with a (medulloblastoma) brain tumor. Tragically he lost his war against cancer but during his battles I got my first camera and was determined to capture every moment I had left with him, even to the point where he said to me "do you need to photograph everything I do"... "well yes I did".

I soon discovered that I loved being behind the lens, to capture one moment in time and have that one moment tell  a story is something truly magical and something I feel privileged to be able to do.

A gift of a beautiful family portrait sitting from the "Fight For Connar Foundation" instilled in me the belief that everyone deserves a great family portrait regardless of the challenges.

In my previous life I was a Nurse working with people who have complex behavioural and mental health issues, the experience gained there puts me in the position to be able to provide photographic services for people with special needs family members.
